I had an interview on Monday that I was really excited about, until they asked me what animal I would be if I could choose. Seriously, what kind of question is that? Why would anyone ask something like that? It's been a while since I last interviewed, is this the norm now?

@q3 rats are super cute and intellligent, RATs are not
hey, why report/delete the RAT?
what did RATs do to you?
it was a legit comments, my favorite animal is the RAT
Jordan or LeBron? … lame.
After that question, I knew I didn’t want to work here.
Favorite Nike shoe.. lol
@OP it does feel like you left us hanging though, what was your animal pick?
lol
referrals only valid in ITC, workday has a special field here where you can enter your clan/caste to make hiring decisions easier
@bd All referrals due is send a message to the referred person inviting them to apply. I think most of that is due to preventing hiring bias, but it also means they are more likely to hire someone that isn't a good fit imo
I don’t really care what questions get asked, but Nike really needs to rethink how the employee referral process works. I’ve referred a former coworker who I know is very qualified, and in most cases over the past few months he hasn’t even made it to the HR interview stage because of things like internal candidates already lined up, sudden hiring freezes, or other reasons I’m not aware of. It honestly feels like it still comes down to who you know
Why do you want to work here.
Look stupid, I need money. I'm selling time from my lifespan, S T F U and buy and stop with the MBA BS you impressed your 80yo professor with.
No one is impressed, no one gives a fly bird drip about your little mind games to sound relevant because you can't get a passing grade in maths.
What have you done recently to serve athletes
When can you start?
Knowing full well that the hm doesn’t have budget for it, or the capacity to be half of bad manager.
I was asked how I was doing and if I was enjoying the world cup lately
there was already a name on the table of course and the interview was just for show as usual. at least they didnt waste my time with a business case or something
I bet I know who interviewed you 😂
I asked someone how many push ups you can do. Same question That congress asked Pete hegseth
The correct answer is a liger
How do you feel joining to company with layoffs every year and reorg 2 times per year?
Well obviously a Cheetah… unless you can be Batman, then ALWAYS be Batman.
But yeah that’s… super odd. Like ask me nearly anything else if you are trying to get a read on my personality/team fit.
