I am thinking of applying for a job at DXC but saw the BBC news. Any thoughts?

More chances of you getting ki-led than a pay rise
So make sure you join for the right reasons
Do not join - your salary is a one off negotiation - it will never be increased again.
The place is chaos - it's all run on adhoc spreadsheets and email! No modern processes.
Colleagues are underpaid - less than you will join on they don't care - and they won't help you.
It is not what they present in the propaganda.
If you have a worse offer elsewhere you are better to take that.
If DXC is your only offer, obviously you have to decide what's best for your short term.
If you apply, get the very highest salary you can at the outset, because unless you're high enough up the chain to get a good contract, that's the most pay you'll receive.
And get out of those countries to somewhere more sane, like somewhere in Western Europe or Down Under.
