@mb which divisions? I know quite a few engineers across Q, none of them have heard of layoffs the last 2+ years and that's a long time compared to the frequent faang layoffs
@fh if they were firings, they wouldn’t have severance packages. Smaller layoffs are done quietly so as not to be as disruptive as a bigger one that people anticipate. Remember summer of 2023 when no one did sh-t because the geniuses in the C-Suite announced there would be a layoff in the fall?

OP, that rate would be more like firings for underperformance than layoff. Formal layoffs carry a bigger number after quite a few months of deliberation.
