So, exploration will be gone entirely ? Even the VP is done. Is this the right move?

@OP What have we “explored” for in the last 5 years? I never understood why we had an exploration department since Covid. At least that dead weight is gone. One less group to jump on whatever “innovation” the ELT is pumping.
@ay that’s correct, Vice President of Operations…none of the people under him will have “Chiefs” in there title, as there is no more Chiefs team. Good day sir. Enjoy the show, remember, no refunds!
Deck chairs on the titanic.
@ax read again Vice President, Operations will lead a Centralized Operations & Chiefs function
@ar there isn’t a Chiefs team anymor
@aq you’re thinking asset VPs. The ops vp is also the chiefs
@ae why would the OPs VP have any exploration people? That doesn’t make any sense.
@OP I imagine they’ll keep some either under the ops/chiefs VP or business development. But I’m curious what are they actually exploring? What has exploration group actually added to the bottom line in the last couple years? Genuine question. If they are actually adding value, they aren’t making that clear to the rest of the company.
