@OP What have we “explored” for in the last 5 years? I never understood why we had an exploration department since Covid. At least that dead weight is gone. One less group to jump on whatever “innovation” the ELT is pumping.

@OP I imagine they’ll keep some either under the ops/chiefs VP or business development. But I’m curious what are they actually exploring? What has exploration group actually added to the bottom line in the last couple years? Genuine question. If they are actually adding value, they aren’t making that clear to the rest of the company.
