Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Any rumor on ER?

Wonder if ER will be offered again? Last time they did it was 2022 iirc.

ER ended its 15-season run on April 2, 2009. The two-hour series finale, preceded by a retrospective special, concluded the long-running medical drama after 331 episodes. The show premiered on September 19, 1994.

  1. But if you recall there was a max on your IPF to hold back the high performers.

The last offer was not much better than the typical layoff package.

I think the first was around 2011 and they realized that everyone who took ER was at a competitor the first Monday after they left. Paying a year's salary to give your best people to your competitors was identified as completely stupid and then they did it at least two more times coming to the same conclusion each time.

They said it was the last time the two previous times too.

@OP Pretty sure the last ER was 2020 or 2021 (during covid times). I think (at the time) they said "this is the last time we are going to offer this" not positive.
