It's creepy that you've used AI to create content for your own "report" post here.

Even creepier that you used other posters' original content to feed on, as the suppliers of content for your AI "report".

Creepiest of all, you cite each individual original poster's "handle" throughout your "report." This is a violation of common decency, as people who post here do so individually, in regard to their specific situation with a specific company, not to serve collectively in a compilation of data for your "report" where you "name" them specifically.

People who post here are vulnerable and/or concerned about layoffs which are primarily happening in the USA. For you to take their words, just to then feed them into AI, so you can sp-t out a contrived "report" here is despicable and inhumane behavior. In my severance layoff packet in 2025. OP of maybe layoffs thread with resurgence in 2026 "I'm back" a few posts back. There was no garden leave in my severance package. I started applying right away to other places.

That is real bad. I couldn't make out the math, I was there for 3.5 years. It would not be a surprise to me people were capped for severance which is not a requirement. For context severance + Cobra + PTO paid out came to me as a total of $24k. I was a senior associate.

The thing that helped me is that I took action of my part as soon as I noticed something is off. I updated gym passes, One Medical Renewal subscription, get copies of my performance review. I updated withholding in my paychecks since unemployment will not be taxed enough so I updated my W-4. I lost access to them after RIF. Start leveraging outside brokerage for additional income in day trading.

This is a brilliant, tragic and accurate summary of the life I live :(

Point of note to add, in the UK it's a legal requirement to make roles redundant, not people. However there are no formal job roles assigned, and having access immediately revoked and being escorted from the building is not commeasurate with a "consultation". This is not legal, but just like the lack of WARN notices, they keep doing it.
