What's in Workday Electronic Personnel File, why, and who can access?

Off topic observation - why does my Workday Electronic Personnel File have multiple years of pay vouchers? Seems unnecessary and who has access to this? Can my manager snoop and see how much or little I've made in the past, how much I withheld in taxes or for my 401k? These files are PDFs of the entire calendar year of pay stubs.

I got mine, but it only had reviews. I wish there more. Like for example management desk files and notes they kept about me, fact files etc. It would be really interesting to see what they really thought. I feel sometimes that I didn't get everything even though they sent all that.

If you resisted masking or showing proof of vax during the pandemic it's in there

Of course your manager knows your salary history. Not the details of your deductions, but your top line. And every year at comp time it gets reviewed if necessary. So does your managers manager and so on up the chain. HR knows it too.

What a weird thing to worry about... are you hiding something? I could care less if my manager knew my salary history.
