Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Employee feedback

Rumour is they are going to do an employee feedback survey. Is the current thoughts and views and morale and feelings and challenges and of the vast number of employees not very obvious? Another crazy idea from crazy KK lady.

@1jy it helps identify those with negative attitudes and those whom will speak the truth. Both of those class of people need to be released in the next few rounds of layoffs this year.

Why are they wasting time with this? A survey that will guide the company direction? The direction is into the ground.
How could they not possibly know what we think already?

Why are you all buying this garbage?
Employee survey. Translation…
It will look like we are doing something, by asking the employees for their useless opinion

It’s already done and decided.

Best one I ever saw was they asked for anonymous questions and the host on the call was reading them out and named one of the people asking!!! Ive never filled in anything since.

@OP 1.) Too little, two late. 2.) Employees will NOT be honest as they don't trust. 3.) Those eager beavers (favorites) that do complete it, will write all is good. 4.) Valid feedback....what are they going to do.....turn things around and keep all those employees "content". It's all a crock.

How is the ethics department doing? If people trusted they would be going there.

We've watched a leader quite literally torture people in Can for 7-8 years and nothing was done. They are protected because of their title and who they pretend to be.

@b5 Not only that but everyone should be more cautious with co-workers because times like this bring out the worse in people.. when the ship is sinking and people are holding onto the ship thinking they can survive they will have no problem helping others drown.

Do NOT believe it to be anonymous. Speaking as a past manager. I only share as a warning to those that haven’t been around long enough to know.

They are going to put the speakers too close to the microphone. That’s the feedback you will get. 🎤🔊🔊

@a8 Some middle layer managers and senior management use these to figure out whom will be willing to say things and then keep a close eye on those individuals because in times like these it's the truth that needs to be hidden.

What matters is what is reported on powerpoint slides even if those slides have words and numbers that don't align with reality.

These only attract the "at least I have a job!" id--ts. You're a fool if you think they care about your feedback. Have they cared before? It's to make you think they care, don't be a mo--n.

Maybe they will mysteriously lose the results from this one like the last one they did. 😂 If they want honest feedback give one link and let people do it from their personal computers etc.

@a4 They have said that the last 20 years but managers always seem to have more knowledge then they should on whom answered what.

These will also be used to put an extra mark for or against you in the spreadsheets being kept for the next 3 rounds of lay offs for this year.

It's brilliant.

A good percentage will fear rocking the boat and provide satisfactory replies.

Others will give valid criticism which the powers that be can "misunderstand" to their advantage, complete with a "we are listening" message.

Anything else can simply be ignored.
