I suspect layoffs are not done after today and will be ongoing via a rolling layoff. Maybe a few weeks later it would be Banking next who knows or WM non-tech.

I hope it impacts the India office. I find the worst culture comes out of WM. They are the pushiest, refuse to read docs or follow process. Tired of losing friends who are quality engineers only to see WM India absorb the role with an engineer who is 1/10th the quality.
If someone is suddenly OOO and their status says they are on leave for the next 1 month, it means they are gone. In Glasgow it is mostly finance, legal. Tech was also affected (cyber security). Also I think it started in UK around 15th Feb. Some VPs disappeared around 15 Feb, suspicious 1,5-2 months leave. I doubt they return.
