I've heard that layoffs may start soon, especially with anyone on bench for more than two weeks. What are people seeing and hearing?

I know one US-based person who was laid off today.
Beware Epam lays off people a mass but one by one so that they do not need to pay severance. This practice allows them to save which is not legal. Local governments must investigate them
Told today that layoff from bench is coming March 30.
