@7e1 I agree. I left Open Systems in 2008 and moved over to Audit Support. Things were okay there until 2013 when some major changes took place. Our department got "su-ked into" GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), and I definitely did not sign-up for THAT. I couldn't wait to retire, and 2018 couldn't come soon enough. I felt bad for all those who still had to put up with that cr-p. There was a time when it was fun, but it just seemed that since Thryve became involved, things went to sh__!!!!!
Anyone who was laid off, or will get laid off soon, should consider themselves lucky. Just about anything you find after the fact will be 100 times better than working for that high stress cr-ppy company that values nothing except their bottom line. Highmark was the Absolute worst job I ever had in my 35 years in IT.
It’s a sinking ship. Several managers with 15 plus years of tenure have resigned in the last few months and Dave Palmer left yesterday.
WNY Union jobs being affected also. Some got buyouts ..some are bumping into other departments. Were told is Phase 1. More to come as claims is overstaffed and AI and systems are processing claims +98%.
A few from L&D too. It just never ends. I left in December and couldn’t be happier to be out of that sh-tshow.
27 people across HPO were laid off.
Every year it's a game of Russian roulette, who the he-l wants to go through this every year!?!? Something needs to be done about this. Throwing people to the wolves without a care in the world.
