Here is what is known:
They are being explicit that in office 3 days means full days. Not 1-2 hours.
Leaders have been advised to be aware of their employees time spent in office. This might mean spot checking.
If needed, yes, at any point your IP address can be tracked. So employees who decided to badge in, then go home and work, and put up a fake background or lie about being in office can actually be found out if there’s reason to believe they are lying.
There’s been enough of it happening in the last couple years that they are putting accountability measures in place as necessary.
I’m a manager. I haven’t heard anything about that. Sounds like a rumor.
