They went into a full week “lockdown”… just to come back out and say, “We need to move faster.”

Love how we call meetings “lockdowns”. My director was in one of those too, though not this one. Lockdowns are what they do in prisons after a fight or a m_rder and the like. Using that term is pretty illuminating.
