The so called "we heard your feedback" is the BS they put out! We're they deaf dor the past 18 months and all of a sudden got ears or the speed of sound is diminished on higher floors that they received the feedback just now? Have the ba!!s to admit you made mistake and apologize for the sh!t show.
Typical negotiation tactic.
They drag us all back into the office for four days, roaming like nomads.
Now they’re walking it back. “We heard your feedback! You still have to commute to have Teams calls with people in adjacent offices. But they’ll be the same adjacent offices every day. You’re welcome, slugs.”
Unassigned floor A != Unassigned floor B, and I genuinely hate how nobody is ever able to call that out. Anyone going “oh unassigned is fine” is on a floor with only offices and no cubes / shared spaces and for all intents and purposes gets an assigned spot. Try acting high and mighty when you’re on an unmodernized floor with only shared tables and a bathroom that is constantly broken.

We've been unassigned since they piloted and it's really no big deal.
