Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

This has nothing to do with race and everything to do with culture. After working with developers from different parts of the world, like Venezuela, Philippines, Germany and Nepal, I got to say that I've never seen such obtuse individuals as off-shore Indian developers. Interestingly enough, the ones that worked on site had a completely different attitude.

How many are Cognizant employees? Cognizant was sued a few years ago for discriminating against non-Indian employees.

That is what Indians do all the time in all the companies, as long as they get away with it. They take over American jobs. Why would not they stay in India if India is so great?

Aren't most of them contractors anyways? Don't get me wrong, that's even worse because we all know we get the bottom of the barrel when it comes to getting talent from staffing companies.

Ite because of the Shifad and Khan show over there 🤣. They will not hire any non-Indian to backfill any of their openings. It's blatant discrimination what they do in the Charlotte office, and leadership hasn't done anything yet about it. I heard Shifad was supposed to be terminated the last wave of layoffs as leadership has gotten tired of his ways, but for whatever reason it hasn't happened yet. But as the OP mentioned, it really is crazy the percentage of their crew that is Indian, especially for being in Charlotte. But even their staff in other cities is mostly all H1-B visas. All I know is our IT department is terrible nowadays. I know an AWS consultant told me it's scary how badly AIG,'s AWS is being managed under Shifad and Khan, and if there was ever a DR need AIG is in serious trouble.

This made my night, lol. I have been saying this for 5 years and no one does anything about it. I know 3 guys personally that were let go over there a few years ago, and their back fills were H1-B visas. The entire team is Indian now, when statistically that shouldn't be even possible, especially in Charlotte, North Carolina, lol. Nepotism at its finest.
