Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

**Presence Report**

The latest version of the presence report contains a significant error. It assumes that all employees require 5 days of office presence; however, some organizations require only 3 days.

This tool fails to account for this variability and applies the five-day requirement uniformly. As a result, it inaccurately lowers the overall office presence percentage for teams operating under a three-day model. It is time to retire this ineffective tool, as it has repeatedly failed to produce accurate results.

@g7 Not all orgs are 5 x 8 my friend. For example, the CTX org in Plano is 3x8.

There’s a simple drop down that lets you choose the # of days in office and/or the # of required hours

5x8 is the rule. Lower level leadership have no authority to deviate. Reduce the number of days at your own peril.

Put me down as the guy who likes to watch all the hot office eye candy and browses thelayoff.com and Indeed while at work.

I would never force my subordinates into anything they didn't want to engage in, anyway.

And risk exposure to abrasive bootlickers like you? Not going to happen.

@ar

Which category do you most closely identify with?

1)Micromager/Tinpot Dictator - gets most of their personal satisfaction from controlling other people and having power over them

2) Bootlicker/Toady - a person who enjoys backstabbing and spying on people and who su-ks up to persons in Category 1

3) S-xist/predator men - see a job as a place to hit on women and look for companies run by someone in Category 1 to either protect them or be their wingman.

Sounds like your “cool” Boss is about to get exposed.

You’re supposed to be 5 days like everyone else.
