I’m a sales rep and got my call from my Rdr and some hr guy 2 weeks ago about me losing my job and taking the severance package. My last day is Jan 20th up here in the Chicago market. They told me that I can apply for a ft order writer/merchandiser position. I asked my rdr, dm and rms what type of pay would this position give me. I never got a straight answer. All these changes are cr-p. They got rid of a bunch of good reps that I have worked with over the years. I understand that there will be these “super territories” that only a handful of sales reps will have. What is the point of even having a sales rep when all they want is more ft order writers/merchandisers? What are the reps going to do when the order writer has more control of the store than the rep and is doing all the work? The I was told that they want more rms’s on the team. What are the extra rms’s going to do? My last few rms’s are unreachable. They never come out and never answer the phones. I just don’t get it where this company is going anymore……….

2 weeks severance pay for how many years you were working for the company. For example, you had 5 years in, you will get 10 weeks pay in a lump sum.

This Company makes people sick. These Managers is be judged on judgement Day. No other Gods before Me. Prayers To all involved.
No amount of money is worth the way this company treats their employees. You don't know how miserable you are until you are free. It is just a paycheck. If you are willing to work someone will pay you. New opportunities will not come until you initiate a change. So glad they ran me off. I worked way to hard to be treated the way I got treated and not paid near enough.
Don't do the full time order writer. That's a slap in face for u it's only paying 16 to 18 hourly no car etc. Doing way more work less money. The sa position you keep salary and car. But your working heaviest loads and traveling everywhere. I'm scheduled almost every other day 14 hr shifts. Not worth it unless you don't have a family bonus are also cut. My recommendation get out while u can do bare min waste time to get hours look for another job your last 30 days. N move on. There only using you for time being.
And it’s only gonna keep getting worse…..I for sure have seen this coming!!! People have been warned for years!

I'm on one of these new super territories. It's a complete sh-t show. The merchandisers writing orders skip loads, under order, forget to sync, put the wrong date, etc. None of the merchandisers work any back stock, and only part of the load. The displays are always left empty, and that's if they even built the displays in the first place. Everyone of them leaves it for the next person, who in turn leaves it for the next person. I've never seen so many people allowed to do almost nothing and still have a job and get paid. I'm embarrassed to work here now. They say I should be mostly writing orders. It's an absolute lie. I've never been so over worked, or stressed out in my life. I guess I could just leave everything empty and walk out. That's never been my style or work ethic. I'm just about at my tolerance level of this complete BS, and I am gonna start writing an order and walking out. This sh--s gonna implode when I quit torturing myself and holding it together.
