Agree with depends on market and manager 💯. It isn't an easy job, but there are certainly perks to it if you have a good team, manager and sr manager.

@OP if this is under ecs run fast. Worst leadership team ever, very self serving and provide little to no training and micro manage to no end

Highly dependent on your market and manager. I transferred from one manager to another and my current one currently breathes down my neck if I don’t discharge a patient on or before the predicted discharge date, despite having a justification.

Be prepared for ever changing goals/metrics and work process. It’s very hard to keep up at times and goal posts are always moving. The patient engagement part is frustrating because you never know who’s going to pick up their phones to talk to you, and when they don’t, it goes against your metrics. It’s crazy.

I have worked in that department for 7 years (formerly navihealth). Great job, great balance, serious metrics though and you better be able to multitask and excellent prioritization skills.
