salaries are very low in Canada. almost comparable to india.
London is considered a very high cost location (similar to NY).
Not sure it is safe, but for what it is worth, LDN slowly became a low-cost location in the past 20 years. The guys across the pond are having a good laugh at our expense - house prices in LDN are similar to San Fran, but salaries are probably 3x smaller on average...
