Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Is your sales “leader” the same?

Professional meeting attender.

Calendar always appears full.

Spreadsheet-centric, for everything.

Meets with entire team 2-3 times weekly, each meeting 1+ hour, overly repetitive and negative tone.

Has weekly 1-on-1 with each direct, only focusing on what they can do more of.

Shows up, but provides no value during partner interactions.

Takes everything personally.

Distrusts everyone, even top performers.

Provides no praise, just do more mentality.

Takes credit when no credit is due.

Track record of micromanagement and employee attrition.

Makes you feel small during every interaction.

Has horrible breath.

@bz nailed it. Risk management at USB is just a box checking exercise, creating a paper trail to make it look like real work was done, but no actual critical thinking involved. And PRISM is a prime example of the dysfunction

Would this be either Risk or Conpliance "managers"? Meetings to have meetings only for multiple teams to ask other teams to be engaged with the other teams not engaged on the call. Everyone stealing work done in the actual Business Line and slapping their names on it to say they did something. Its comical how dysfunctional and desperate. How many groups need to touch a PRISM but contribute nothing of value.

Speaking of not adding value, how many teams have a self proclaimed "program manager" but no real program?

@a7 That explains the horrible breath.

You are describing my boss. Adds absolutely nothing to any meeting. Every issue has a spreadsheet solution. Is always an expert after issues are resolved. He's an official meeting attendee with a packed schedule. Knows how to jam his head entirely up his boss's back side and stick his tongue out. A useless goof.
