@1b0+1khkvckxs Its actually the Execs who are bent.

They are raiding the company and taking all the money from employee pay increases for themselves whilst delivering nothing.

Its like a fraud level raid of company resources.

Everybody I know who left DXC are much happier and got a lot more in salary.

If money is your goal, leave DXC asap.

Staying at DXC will only prolong your suffering.

Take the pay check do the bare minimum and look for another job or start a side gig! But don't let it make you lazy. Also talk to your clients and tell them where the holes are and they may hire you directly

These days I also mostly chop wood and get on with far more rewarding things than anything DXC seems to need from me.

The arrangement is simple: I log in, stay available in case a question comes up (unlikely), and in the even more unlikely event I can actually do anything useful about it, I will. Then I log out. Repeat tomorrow. I wouldn't have any brain cells left if all I did was DXC tasks.

Got redundancy a year ago, and now I just chop wood in my shed, and come on here when I need a laugh.

There is definitely life outside dxc, but you have to be willing to roll up your sleeves and do some real work.

Unfortunately, we all in dxc have become useless email engineers.

BTW - you network brats and b-ms stay in dxc and rot.

got made redundo in UK but fell lucky with an end user job before the money ran out.
I feel sorry for the few who don't deserve the treament at DXC, but not for the majority who end up as conniving snakes
I hope you get out soon

There is no life in DXC. I've not spoken to some of my colleagues at all this year. We attend calls sometimes and they say nothing. Life outside of DXC just doesn't have DXC or the salary. I can't see how it will be much different. I will spend most of my day doing my own tasks. But at least I won't have to attend pointless meetings that because we're all so busy can only run at lunchtime or right at the end of the day. I'm allocated to tasks I've long since completed. But if that's all they have for me, and still won't approve my VR request, what more can I do than bill the code and check messages every couple of hours until they do want something, and realise I checked out months ago!
