I gave this job years of my life and kept pushing even when it was draining me. They took everything they could and never slowed down. Now there’s nothing left in the tank, and I’m done trying to refill it. Package or not, I’m walking away.

@rx couldn’t agree more! Very well said!
Too may Allstaters have few if any better options outside the company. It’s been that way for 15 years. Those left have a few choices. First, stop whining and letting your abysmal career situation impact your marriage, family, mental and physical health, etc. Two, get busy figuring out a pathway after Allstate. You control your fate. Not Allstate.
It’s just a job, resign and move on!
I feel your pain Craig David.
It's been a tough few years for a lot of people and I think many in the same boat. What I would say though, I think the IT sector in general is in a mass state of flux and transition and quite unpredictable...I want to be a Postman so I can remember what it's like to see people smile, because we sure aren't getting much of that in Allstate
They purposely try to mentally break and abuse employees into voluntary submission and giving up. All planned out. A sick sociopathic game the execs and management at Allstate play. Their latest way to reduce headcount and avoid paying severance. Sick, sadistic bas-tards.
It’s a marathon. Show some mental toughness. Put one foot in front of another and press on.
