@v1 you ahould mind your own business. Perving on what people are doing in rooms intended for privacy is weirdo behavior

When I walk by focus rooms (often), many are "focusing" on their phones. The few will always wreck it for the many.

They didn't dig into anything. Not enough people were quitting on their own, so they looked for ways to torment employees more. That's literally the only reason for the change. What they really want is you in office zero days a week for zero hours per day. Anything else they say is obviously a lie.

Those rules have been the rules since we all came back into the office and hot desking.

when the rules aren't ridiculously detailed then people complain that the rules aren't clear.

infantalizing - yes.

done because some portion of the so-called professional employees don't know how to behave in a professional environment - yes

@a8 that's the opposite of coffee badging

In their defense, a lot of rules need to be created for the minority. So we all suffer. The hours rule wasn't a problem until they dug into all the "cheating."

@a8 you make it so simple. But if it is named a "focus" room how do you get its purpose is for "discussing confidential info without everyone around you listening in" is that what focus means?

Its not that complicated. Focus rooms are great if you need to be in a meeting to discuss confidential info without everyone around you listening in. Thats what they are for. However when the coffee badging crowd camps out in them all day so they can watch YouTube videos, or work an entirely different job, without anyone noticing thats a problem. See? Not complicated at all.

How long are we allowed to stay in focus rooms?

And isn't it telling on one hand they recognize focus room or places apart are great to concentrate and get work done. And on the other they go no to work from home and no to even full cube walls to shield you from the distractions of everyone else in the cattle pens they put us it?

Wells Fargo sounds like a good place to rot. I am convinced the last ones remaining here su-k and don't have the courage to try something new. Be a good g0yim and stay in the office all day.

Read through the faq and it’s infantalizing - smaller company would be better at this point. They’re not going to bother with some of this
