A email was sent regarding a meeting that is supposedly coming up with the new Operations Senior Director. Per the email, the new Operations Senior Director wants to get “acquainted with our business”. Any ideas of on what this could mean? No date has been set for the meeting yet, just an email saying it will be soon.

The amount of people being hired into jobs they are not qualified for is at an all time high, Especially from outside of the industry.

Nothing screams failed business model more than bringing in a senior director who lacks understanding of the core business. Yes, most jobs will go to HIH.
Yep, it’s a mission to find fat to be trimmed off and shipped out when that director is forced to make cuts. Doesn’t mean it will happen soon or at all but at this rate, everyone should be preparing for the worst.
Get acquainted with the duties that can be offshored, with corresponding domestic layoffs.
