Getting to see posts from those involved, sharing in real time, is incredibly sad and validating. There is a lot of value in that. Not making light of the real pain being experienced. However, the Theater of the Absurd in upon us. Then Theresa flips a table with "20% raise with AI!" Can't wait for the Reunion Show where everyone shows texts from Stephanie, Bob and Ian. Andy Cohen is unprepared for this level of insanity and that is saying something.

@bk is anyone allowed to use Co pilot transcriptions again? Didn't Bob can that for the duration of the recent round of layoffs? Is that the new barometer of layoffs? The suspension of Co pilot?

@b7 learning to use FIS TA and WFM was shocking. Let's quantify that: average handle time for calls was increased 40% to accommodate using these clunkers. Average Handle Time (AHT) is a KPI used to evaluate performance. Imagine the staffing ratios. Yeah, more people needed and yet, that is what was cut. FIS knew that when they underbid the Franklin Templeton contract. Bye bye!

@b7 they are not throwing millions at AI here. they are looking to cut people and say "AI will fill the gap"

can you record a meeting and use copilot transcription?
can you use any of the most popular AI tools on a company computer?

Yes, this site makes for grimly compelling reading. I’m here every day to watch the tragedy unfold. If only our so-called leaders had 1/10 the sense and integrity that is shown by so many posters on here.

Watching these leaders throw millions at AI while the core systems are held together by legacy scripts and hope is peak 2026 energy. They’ll talk about “transformative machine learning strategy” in the same breath that their data pipeline breaks every Tuesday and no one owns the APIs. AI doesn’t fix a broken ecosystem — it just scales the chaos faster. But sure, let’s deploy a chatbot before we figure out where the data actually lives.
