Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Things that make it worse..

I feel like all the bs iris articles about making a difference and flu--er content about amazing impact is just nauseating. Read the room and chill tf out. Peoples lives have been turned upside down.

@d2 you know you have won when the personal attacks start.

Let’s say the overall ends up being 13k or so. That would be roughly 16%

Yes, a lot of people impacted but that still leaves 60k plus employees or 84%

I hope your attempt at cute one liners and name calling make up for your opportunities in functional numeracy

@d1

Right. Small percentages simply do not accumulate into a larger percentage.

Head back to second grade, master basic arithmetic, then report back. Dimwit.

@cz you should apply this logic to yourself. The overall impact of the last several years will still be a small %.

@cg

This is a small percentage.

Last time, another small percentage.

Time before, again a small percentage.

Next time, just a small percentage...

You have all the tools to be a critical thinker, and this is how you use them? What a shame.

There is a significantly higher % of people at the company who are not being impacted than are.

I feel bad for those who may be impacted and am sure it is very stressful, but this id a small %.

Cigna should keep doing what it is doing as the future is bright for those who will remain.

@ab I have beef with HIH. They are bad at their jobs and make my life harder

@ab I have beef, some of them genuinely believe Americans are d-mb and feel entitled to our jobs AND money as customers.

If you’re an onshore employee, that isn’t for you. That is for the cheap TEMU employees that live across the pond. They are making quite an impact.
Eventually everyone onshore will lose their position to someone outside of the states.
Best of luck to everyone.
Also, no beef with HIH… they’re just taking advantage of what’s being offered.
