Parking at the Plano locations has gotten so bad, the police are starting to write tickets and tow cars. If you get to work after 8:30, forget about it. If you leave for lunch, forget about it when you come back. Your only option is a park & ride lot over 2 miles away. At least the company runs a shuttle back and forth all day.

Even if parking is secured, getting to a desk and sitting there is another huge challenge. Even if you somehow manage to get a desk, no guarantees monitor, mouse or keyboard will work. And if you need a standing desk due to a lower back problem..then you are done for the day. This place is just there to make people quit…after all isn’t that what they want anyways.
@b0 I wish I could believe you. But in reality, they keep backfilling positions for people who were fired or laid off. So the numbers remain unchanged, at least in my team.
Lots of student drivers.
Ge-z. Hope they have 50,000 parking spaces planned for stankengrad
@at WWSD, What would Stankey do? That’s what I’ll do. Uber black on the corporate card.
@a6 STOP: Don’t do this! I’m in HR and you’ll make my life a living he-l… we’re all in this together.
I don't know how you guys are missing the message. Not enough of you have quit or died. They will continue to ramp up the misery until you give them their number. The shuttles will be cancelled soon enough. Enjoy the walk.
@am police were there today. Plano police sign in lobby says ticketing and towing.
@am DMN is full by 9.
I am going to demand a chauffeur driven limousine
@OP BS. Police are not ticketing employees. Security gives a warning to id--ts parking in the firelanes and pedestrian walkways. No one is getting towed from parking lots. Overflow parking is 0.5 miles, not 2 miles. Yes, there is a shuttle that runs frequently.
There are several other options. Basic carpooling is always encouraged.
Hire a lawyer to draft a demand letter and send it to HR.
