They choose to spend a ton of money on this AI apparatus that is clearly a POC but ignore the fact that they have layers and layers of antiquated systems that date back to the 1980's that they are still using today. Some things just never change with these knuckleheads.
At 2:40 it says JPM has better tech!

LAR is as dense as can be. Highly scripted.
@d9 Yup you are completely correct. This is why our management is completely out of touch and d-mb. They spend million of dollars to just build a UI around it. Instead of building a wheel, why not just use wheels out there.
Eliza is just a ChatGPT wrapper (that could also just use Gemini, Claude). It has a bunch of garbage middle ware built on top that have been made obsolete by Claude Code and Claude Code templates
If BNY wanted to push AI, they could just build Claude Code extensions and templates, and get away with doing 100x more for 1/10 the cost.
The company in a nutshell
Our CIO joked with the CNBC reporter that if BNY was not listed as the best AI technology then Eliza would be fired!
Oh wow, not even PIP-N-GO!
Such an investment and then POOF!
There goes our future.
Absolutely ridiculous
Leigh ann told the reporter to ask questions like history of bny. You could literally see how nervous and unconfident she was.
