Why is new leadership needed? Please make the case other than the current one are id--ts.

Investors who owns small boat planned to cash out their investment. So slowly they joined to sail in big boat and use their influence to bend board to acquire small boat ay high price.
When they evaluate small boat they created lot of inventory and junk products in small boat for sake of valuation. After acquisition big boat runs by whom ??? They tried to consolidate all sailors in both boats including technology which never worked as they created shallow inventory and tools for the sake of sale. Now the captains and investors are hungry and get margins out of vendorships for running ships. Bubble of margins will soon burst.
Neustar acquisition is a very very costly mistake in terms of both monetary and cultural value. It will take a long time to rectify this.
I am one of the first employees of chennai office and even we hate the neustar folks. All big talks and absolutely no results. There is little to no sanity left. Just going to the office feels depressing these days.
