Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

So tired of being asked to do more to make up for layoffs

I’m now being pressured to take on the work of another team that was let go when my own team was recently cut by more than 50%. I already can’t deal with the extra work left by the people who were let go on my team, let alone try to help another team in an area where I have no idea what they do. I feel bad they don’t have the people they need to do the work, but frankly, that’s not my problem and I can’t fix it for them. I’m so tired of these “leaders” laying people off and expecting us to just magically make up for it.

@aj Micromanagement is due to managers themselves being sh-t scared of losing their jobs.

@ah happening to me as well, they handed me a dumpster fire and put me in a role I've never done. I'm a remote employee so I'm like "are you setting me up to fail here"? I've been with the bank for well over a decade. It's changed so much from RKD days and I no longer want any parts. The market su-ks but I'll take a paycut to not have the stress of USB today. I don't trust Gunjan any farther than I can throw her.

On top of that add to it insane levels of micromanagement that seems to be getting worse.

Just happened to me too! Temp work for another team that I’ve never done before. In some ways it feels like a test and a set up.
