@OP The New Person wants to be heard in meetings. Full of questions and comments.
@h0 That’s good. And Super-engineer can guide them as only someone of his caliber can.
a couple of them are d***k heads - shouldn't have been hired - esp in engineering. A few great hires, and if they do get the support needed to deliver on their asks, things might work for those products which would be good for us.
@cs While you’re still employed, it might be an idea to use the EAP to address your delusions.
@bk Have you been there? I'm sure there are teams that are problematic. They don't last. I have repeatedly seen leadership do the things that will improve morale. They'll take the worst desks. They take the worst spots. They listen when employees dislike a team/manager.
It's hard to work at your best when you are worried about stupid things.

Feels like there's a lot of urgency without a comprehensive plan. Different BUs are scrambling and definitely not communicating, leading to a "we will figure out how this all fits together later" mentality.
@OP unfortunate that the new LT has mastered the art of demoralizing and demotivating employees. Unimpressed with the way they speak to employees. Seeing disrespectful, rude, condescending interactions. Anyone else experiencing this?
