Now I’m really glad I got laid off with a great severance last July. Water is warm kids jump on in.
It’s easy…..calculate what you would have gotten, factor in that you would get hit with major taxes if your sev came in last year, and do nothing until bonus time or you reach it. You really think CVX going to let you go for pulling back for a few months to a year? They don’t notice for a while.
Just keep doing less and less.
100 percent agree. I wished I took the package. I hope they offer it again very very soon. Some of the stuff if we had known - 4 days a week, revised pmp structure, no real changes in leadership etc, I guarantee more people would have been making a mass exodus from CVX. I have worked at chevron for the past 30 years and I have never ever seen it so bad.
YES. If I’d known how miserable the Houston offices would be with 4 days in office, unassigned seating, not enough seating, and zero privacy, I would’ve AEOI’ed. What a horrible working environment, not mention the revised PMP process and the mess that still remains after the reorg.
