Thread regarding Marathon Petroleum layoffs

The new "Venz Oil" deals are in the air. So give your best guess on how it will effect M.P.

Excitement is brewing over the huge Venz Oil possibilities since it holds the worlds largest oil reserves. Temptation to move all assets there could be lucrative. Better make sure any new contract covers overseas relocation and exact wording in new contract for different laws for any country and not just in U, S.A. else that boat could leave without you on board in the near future.

Ven oil might have next generation interest but too risky for today.

@ea Two only options Findlay or Houston? Houston is barely an option, we have only a small presence there right now....what about San Antonio, Denver, any refinery city, any commercial (Brand) city....we have people all over the US. If you are saying Venezuala is a better option that what MPC currently offers, you are clearly commenting for clicks and drama

likely much interest in building new refineries in that location but can they lure enough workers to cross the pond. safety just living there is a concern.

If it was that easy to move a refinery do you think there would still be one in Robinson IL? Use your brain.

“Move all assets there”? Yeah, let’s just pick up and move all the refineries to another continent.
