Greenspoint assigned parking

Remember how at GP long time employees had assigned parking spots? VPs even had a separate section on the ground floor. Then when we moved to EMHC it was announced that there would be no assigned parking for anyone even VPs. It sure wasn’t long before VPs once again had their own assigned spots but employees were never given assigned spots again.

Neil Duffin and his Ferrari were legendary in a bad way. He used to drive like a maniac on the Hardy toll road and then go to employee forums and tell people how important safety is. Meanwhile employees were being shot with a radar g-n in the parking garage by ESAT.

@bt
That the campus would have good food choices was one. What a joke. Even asked for advice.

They should be paying a premium and providing armed security for people being compelled to commute to Greenspoint.

This alone will drive higher attrition. Probably the point.

The parking example is classic Exxon management. Management eat last? More like management eats first then pi---s and craps on the food that is left and sends it down to the employees while complaining that they are spending too much on food for employees and hires consultants to figure out how to offshore more jobs to vegetarians who don’t like expensive things like meat. Chicken is good enough indeed. Let them eat cake.

Most recent lie is that they would lease the space out so they needed to put everyone in hot desks. Real reason is it is psychological warfare to get Americans to quit or retire.

Remember the cups with lids? Someone was stealing them by the thousand and reselling in eBay. Same for the wooden clothes hangers in the gym.

Anyone have one of the books they gave employees when campus opened? I bet there are a lot of things in that book that don’t ring true.

Several announcements that EM made about campus were later proven false.

No reserved parking spaces lasted less that 2 weeks after Neil Duffin came to campus. He wanted his Ferrari near the elevator.

Campus parking was announced to be completely underground so all offices looked out over the trees. This was cancelled to save money.

We were told every parking space would be same size as the oversized parking spaces in GP6 garage. This was cancelled to save money.

We were told all Supervisors would get enclosed offices. This was cancelled 1 year into the campus move.

What other lies about campus were we told?
