Did anyone see the newsletter yesterday? Out of 60+ New hires, only 7 are not Indian? This is ridiculous already. The majority of those hired are in India and the ones in the US are mostly Indian. Do we really not have enough American workers to fill these jobs?

fiserv is way behind the times. us based is already 3x more efficient than india. if you equip us based with ai we're talking 10x and you can greatly reduce india presence. if you run the math it's far cheaper overall, but you have to be smart enough to build the finance model

@k8 this causes another problem. American students are having trouble getting into our own universities because of this. It is time to give Americans whatever color they are access first. Any spots left over can then go to foreigners.

Not only Tech companies, But USA Universities , Market can’t afford to loose Indians . This is rough estimate of only Tuitions paid, that too in computer science only . If you understand math for an average of 100,000 to 120,000 students also another 40,50k experienced IT professionals apply for 65k Visa obviously 70, to 80% H1 allocated to Indians only . Stop Yapping .

The spots isn’t racist…it is facts. We were quite diverse. Yes we had white people, but also black, Hispanic, and Asian. Today all 4 classes are a minority. Yes there were hard workers, and also slugs. Everyone was hired equally. However today, there is inequality as all of the Indian svps are hiring only Indians. So consider Fiserv management racists.
As a systems engineer - consultant, employed and managed data centers - I have dealt with a few, fine Indian personnel. A few were good and great, but generally hired for cost and savings and nothing else. Pune, home of all Fiserv IT - well, same. I have worked with people at WiPro (dummies) and Tata. Not to say that DCX is any better. So I am not racist but tech-ist. Hire good people from wherever and you get value.

Might be many American workers not applying because Fiserv conducts dr-g test .
If they actually vetted these folks, I bet more than half of them wouldn’t have been hired. They make up a tiny percentage of the areas that these offices are in, yet account for a bulk of the hiring. There’s no other group we see this trend with.
