100%. There’s a noticeable “gate keeping” of work processes and information on how to improve processes by my manager. They are making it obvious on who they will protect from the next riff and who the sacrificial lambs are. The @ss kissers are groveling so hard now that it mortifies others who are present in Teams meetings and chat groups. The interactions resemble a cross between Mean Girls and Hunger Games.
It’s a rah rah meeting about how all of us are going to stick together and achieve the company mission for 2026. And like the other poster said we care about you and thank you for all you do (for now until we lay you off).
It'll be a "We care about YOU and what you can bring to the company."
Meanwhile hundreds of NPs in TX were told that because the ice storm was only declared a "DISASTER" and not an "Emergency" by the governor, they were forced to use their own PTO AND reschedule people AND even if they rescheduled members they were still required to use their own PTO.
