I used to be the calm one, and this job’s slowly beaten that out of me. The pressure never lets up, and it shows in how short I’ve become and how checked out I feel. I hate that work’s turning me into someone I don’t recognize, but there's not much I can do about it.

The next stage is psycho-somatic. After that, your brain gets hurt — physically and literally. Once that happens, it will take years to recover. Been and done. THAT.

Nice little story.
There’s no solution but leaving, even if you have to take a step backwards in your career. I left for another company recently and only then grasped just how abnormal things are at WF.

@OP sounds like early menopause or Low T. Use your health insurance.
Easy answer: just stop caring. Everyone else already has. Just counting the days until the severance rolls in.
It's going to take a toll on your nervous system. Best you can do is best you can do and try to shrug off the rest. Easier said than done, I know.

I feel the same way. This is going to backfire at some point, but management seems too short sighted to know or even care.
