Read the WARN act. There is nothing in the legislation that mentions public vs private company.

@124 you're very confident for someone who has Google at their fingertips
@cn, only publicly held companies have to submit WARN reports
Have a great february everyone.
Last day of Jan, are we about to all be fired or is this rumor fake
@b4 that’s not necessarily true. I asked ai about when changes are coming - it talks about project mirage {previous post on this site} and the new structure.
Speculation based on their previous behaviors, but it will happen in small batches throughout the year and physically all over the country. This avoids attention and having to file the public WARN reporting.
@b4 Yup I agree. However, the last October layoff, someone mentioned the exact day of when it was going to happen. Within 3-5 days of the layoff happening. We shouldn't 100% trust the stuff on this site, but it gives us some info that could be useful.
If anyone knows anything they are not posting it on this site. Most people with any credibility post after the fact. Anything before is worthless.
@ax A previous post stated 10% in October, 33% in January. Not that we believe anything on this page...
Isn't that around 35% of Support Center workers?
This just isn't realistic.
I think this person is trying to cause panic.
It seems like you're asking but you may also be telling us?
