why do we keep filling out pulse surveys to never see the results? why bother with the charade?

You are correct that we view the survey results with a massive grain of salt. They inevitably highlight that we have FAR too many whimpering UK and US employees on the payroll and would benefit by shifting as much work as possible to Mumbai. Good Day.
The same reason this thread got very little traction. bp staff in general (with exceptions) is very selfish and narrow with tendencies towards self promotion or improvement. Voicing even constructive feedback would do two things. Expose their career to potential difficulties (there’s really no anonymous in companies today. Secondly other peers would use that against them even if the idea was positive. Double jeopardy.
