I'm at a VP position so I am required to give a 30 day notice period. Would this be:
~1 month notice (which is ~30 calendar days)
OR
~6 weeks notice (based on 5 business days per week for 6 weeks).

Don't forget to account for holidays!

Jesus christ and good riddance.
Now that they’ve sent out non-compete notice to California employees that states that it is invalid, would this cover this mandatory 30 days notice?
30 calendar days. and if they shut off your access you are on a non working garden leave - still an employee, so you are still bound not to work for someone else or they claw back RSUs and mark you ineligible for hire.
they are enforcing this and have been since the day it was announced
It's 30 calendar days, so plan accordingly to take advantage of the weekend days because you will be called out for 28 days in some groups.
And, from what I've seen this is enforced- they aren't trying to get you out of there quicker. And just because they don't say anything doesn't mean you weren't automatically put on ineligible for rehire list. A document is forwarded noting your notice requirement, date that notice was given and your last day.
Believe me, once you give your notice they don’t want you there. Your entitlements will be sh-t off and they will probably let you leave sooner. Don’t over complicate things
@a7 Did you lose your RSU's, and are you ineligible for rehire?
I heard that if you don't give proper notice based on title, that WF will keep RSUs and will classify you as ineligible for rehire. I am trying to avoid these things.
30 days. I left back in September and gave 2 weeks and no one said a word. I had been a VP for 4 years.
One month. 30 days. Don’t make it unnecessarily complicated.
It's "days", don't overcomplicate it
