Trending Needs Improvement

M2 here, I had a needs Improvement at mid-year and at my end of year. I knew that was going to be the case because I'm also on the map program.

I was told during my end of your meeting that this was in the past. But, we all know that if you're trending , that's not a good thing . Has anybody recently survived two inconsistently meets or needs Improvement?

But I'm pretty sure they are required to give so many NI and IM, and I've not heard of anyone getting CE.

Pretty trash when you have a high performance team that does well above the job description but still have to choose somone to get NI

@OP IM ratings have resulted in firing. Review the performance policy. If you don’t agree with the rating put it in writing as to why and submit it to your manager and HR

Yep. Since mine was such a fraud after many years of Exceeds, I didn't want to believe it but what everyone says on here ended up coming true. I went from YE of Meets (for an objectively Exceeds performance year), to IM (for a Meets performance year) to NI at mid-year and fired without severance in October. You are 100% cooked my friend. Leave that hellhole. Life outside is so much better. They are running a corrupt company, you don't want to be part of that anymore.

there's been guidance from top of house that anyone receiving two consecutive ratings less than meet should be terminated (I.e. fired, no notice, no severance)

There have been a bunch of postings on this board of people it happened to last year (their YE 24 was IM, MY 25 was IM then terminated around oct-nov timeframe)

Based on that i'd say you are likely to be fired in 2-4 months.

Not to be a di-k but how on earth are you asking this when you have two needs improvements? Obviously one is no good whatsoever, but two? You know the answer.

First, ask yourself how you allowed yourself to be in this position. Next, apply to jobs. Lastly, when you get a new job, remember your poor performance at WF and don't replicate it there.

Yeah you needed to seriously be looking for jobs like months ago. Don’t be surprised if you’re terminated very soon.

I mean how can you get two IMs and be on a plan, and have the audacity to even post this. It’s borderline hilarious.

@a3 I'm trying to be strategic. Do we think a check in I send to my boss is a good idea? This way it's documented in WD? Also, I have thought of asking for feedback in WD.

There is a pretty significant difference between an IM and a NI. A lot of meets people were pushed to an IM rating this year. But Needs Improvement, even once, is a very bad rating under any circumstances.

My advice: hope for the best but I wouldn’t stick around to find out.
