Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

@4da Not a group, one individual who works remotely. Supposedly speaks to the General on a regular basis about the shadow ops. "All,right... Let's go!" Wind them mechanical watches.

@4d5 it's probably this same SOC group of clowns who "overlooked" that an AVP in the 200 Park office remotely worked in another country late last year without proper clearance. Not to worry, the connections were probably totally secure. Nothing to see here ...

@4a1 this place is the most woke on the planet. Especially in the SOC. Not only is their family running the show, they're all 'non-gendered' or Alphabet entitled. What a clown show.

Here we go again boys and girls (and of course, the non-gendered)! NOW would be a great time for MetLife to use their nifty new emergency text service! Wink, wink ....

Yeah, but don't forget the favoritism and inconsistency across the USB, in the meantime. Some hybrid will be forced by their "people leader" to burn Flex Day(s) or PTO for the snow storm, while others will get their usual wink and a nod undocumented and unlimited day(s) off. I'm looking at you, 200 Park!

There's an AVP at 200 Park handing out proprietary info like it’s party favors to companies we don't even do business with. It’s a bold new strategy: "Unsolicited Transparency."

I’ve personally retired to the front row with my popcorn to watch the circus. Why stress about the hull being breached when the captains are busy admiring the view from the bridge? It’s fine—everything is fine. The calls are coming from inside the house, but as long as the "big shots" are comfy, let the clown show go on!

It’s truly a baffling mystery. Upper management is currently wandering the halls, deeply distressed and "scratching their heads" in a desperate search for cost-cutting opportunities.
If only there were a glaringly obvious surplus of inept middle managers sitting right in front of them, drawing salaries for zero ROI. I guess we’ll just have to keep hunting for those elusive "hidden" savings while the real ones take a long lunch.

In most companies, working from another country without permission is a fireable offense. Here, however, that rule doesn’t seem to apply to leadership. When an AVP or executive breaks this policy, instead of facing real consequences, the company just sends out a generic "reminder" email to everyone. It feels like there’s one set of rules for the bosses and another for everyone else.
