@20r The messed up part with Ali is he has created a very stressful environment in which everything is an emergency. His reasoning is that efk needs to be ready when the work starts flowing. If you're ok with dealing with stress from the moment you walk through the door until the moment you leave then apply and join the team.

You guys are real di-ks for bashing HR. I was one of the people let go and she has been so helpful checking in on me and helping me with getting my severance, benefits and everything else. She even sent me a job lead. Calling her corrupt or whatever else just shows that you have no clue what you’re talking about.

@1et They are still letting people go in EFK. Last round was in Jan. Ali is delusional. He still thinks that he works for Intel. Except now he has no money, impossible goals, few people, and little work. But if EFK is your only option then you have been warned of what to expect.

East fishkill site is hiring. Check internal job openings. Seems more stable than Hudson ?

@p5 just remember, HR works for the business not for you. They are there to protect the managers and prevent lawsuits. Do you really think they don't know what's going on? If they don't do you really think they will listen to you and do something? No, they will tell the managers how to do the same thing without getting caught.

@p5 HR is part of that corruption

@OP I'm guessing if you are still there you are more likely than not one of the company su-ks, ( only a few were kept that were not company su-ks) so you should be safe for a while, but that place is not there in 6 months. If you're not bright enough to see that then Onsemi is probably where you belong

Just go by the way they treated the last few rounds of layoffs. Do you really think management will be transparent with us? Start looking for a new job and don't look back.

They kept so many people this round that should have been let go but due to favoritism, kept their job. It's going to bite them in the a-s when people start leaving and they realize they won't be able to get anything done with these weak links.

Once I find a new job, I will be telling HR everything I know about the corruption that goes on in this place with the managers.

The answer's in the question. If you're doubting, start looking. @av is right. Don't burn bridges, but the reality is that if Hudson doesn't perform well this year, it's not likely to stay open. We're consolidating to drop operating costs and increase expected revenue. If that doesn't happen before CZ is fully operational Hudson is out.

If your asking then that is your answer. Don't burn bridges and feel safe to come back if the place does manage to survive.
