The lack of any mention of relaxing RTO minimums while also sending out daily safety alerts (sometimes more than 1 a day) to those of us working in downtown Minneapolis is appalling.

@a3 oh my God are you serious?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised but maybe I still have enough humanity left in me to be appalled at this.
I literally get told daily not to come in…but then what? No swipes? Thankfully I’ve already hit my 11 but the protesting is out of control
Is something going on in Minneapolis?
Pfffft. Yeah, there's an increased personal safety risk but think of all the collaboration!
Can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
@OP mpls is a cr-p hole of a city. I hate going in to check the box 11 times per month. Gain nothing, waste time, dress like a monkey for peanuts.
They sure made it known a while ago. All we could hope is they get stuck in these protests and riots as that is the only way they will learn.
Someone on our team brought up safety concerns in Mpls specific to the multiple personal safety alerts. Our manager's response was, and I quote, "The alerts don't say you shouldn't go into the office , they just say you should plan your day around the known activities."
And he actually had the audacity to say this from the comfort of his home. Where he works. In a different state. F all the way off!
As a manager, my staff knows if they don’t feel safe all they have to do is communicate. If I know why they are not in, it’s explainable.
