Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Waited 8 minutes for an elevator today at 1400

This is so stupid. And it’s only going to get worse when they start upgrading the elevators, which involves shutting down capacity during upgrades. Based on the window progress at 1500 I think we are going to be living in this nightmare until 2028 at least.

It’s because some of the elevators are saved for MW and execs

As a slacker I think I could ride the HOU140 elevator about 10 times a day. That’ll take up a couple hours on my work day. Hit the men’s room, go to lunch then afternoon break then time to go home. In a Van Pool after all.

Why does it take so long? The construction hasn’t started right?

take the opportunity to crop dust in elevator instead of in open space. In fact we would designate the elevators as capture units

You know what’s hilarious? They went through this ten years ago, with people PI---D that they had to wait and then get on crowded elevators. Some things never change.
