Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

The market can see we have z e r o leadership

Stock down to 28. U-k!
We have no mega paid people that actually provide leadership.
No motivation, no nothing.
What a terrible start to 26/

@bg It gets worse. The only reason renewal revenues are currently holding up is because of the complexity and time it takes to migrate away from OT solutions.

OT’s install base is everyone else’s prospecting list.

@bd if management doesn’t take our company down, our outdated software will. Customers are overcoming the "Spaghetti" problem and are not going to stay with software that “just works” especially when our support continues to get worse and worse. Customers don’t care about how our company is run, but they don’t want to rely on a company with an uncertain future, especially support on a product that may be dropped entirely. CIOs want stability and are not going to invest in our unproven AI. I don’t see a good future.

It’s an absolute mess. It’s honestly surprising that this company is still operating with such mediocre leadership and dysfunctional middle management. The level of incompetence on display is unacceptable.

Duggan’s LOVE model does not take into account logging into systems, so he does not care. His admin does that for him. Same goes for the rest of the ELT. A new CEO will see all this disfunction quickly which could be why they are dragging their feet on appointing a new one. If a new CEO is announced soon, all the ELT will be gone by tge end of the fiscal year.

It's not just developers affected...

Another year and another wasted 2 hours a day having to log into to the same systems over and over and over again, and then think about how stupid it is that you have to log into the same systems over and over and over again.
Multiply that by the number of developers to see the real loss of productivity.
Congrats to the un-leaders in charge of product harmony.

AI Pivot is a buzzword strategy to pump the stock price in the face of slowing legacy revenue. And rapid divestitures is a sign that the core business needs liquidity more than it needs the asset.

All hat and no cattle.
