@nn what is worse is most firms are like this 3 years to be vested is the norm at most financial services companies and banks.

Like it’s ridiculous people don’t know that or can’t check their company intranet for information and ask here.

While you are employed, you are vested at your 3rd year anniversary. If you are laid-off, you become fully vested even if you haven't attained a three-year work history.

Wow @OP. What a pathetic waste of a post irreverent to “layoff” news.

It’s literally said in the onboarding process and repeated at the mandatory new hire training and everywhere else. Why not check workday or ask you manager versus going online to this forum. You can see your vested or not and the date if you login to your account on the web too.
