Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

P4/P5

Has anyone recently had a “manager” lose their title and been placed into a P4 or P5 bucket? If so do they still have access to all tour HR information?

I had a manager who lost her manager title after she lost too many people to layoffs, they made her a P5. She lost all her access to HR tools very quickly from what I recall.

I had an M under me that went to a P (their suggestion based on situation in dept) several years back. They could not see their former team once the shift happens. Teamworks cuts off pretty fast.

They don't have direct access, but if they were replaced by a new external hire, they frequently work alongside that new hire manager for months. My manager was demoted to P4 and he wrote all of the year end reviews, met with employees for the review meetings (he joined the new manager) and dictated who got what for compensation (within his local power).

There are quiet a few senior managers in tech don't have enough directs and coverted to PE, they no long have access to manager tools any more. They don't have access to app repositories either.

We had one of those. Likes to consider themselves as part of the leadership team now. You a P4 brah, a P4, need to quiet down and stop thinking you are still a manager, because you not
