Hassane doesn't run the company, a spreadsheet does.
There's no future here.
The package is still nice, but they escort you out the door like your a member of a te------t cell.

Approximately how many people from each site affected? Good luck to you all!
From Hassane this morning:
Team,
In preparation for 2026, we aligned on our strategic initiatives with each function reviewing their organizational structure to ensure we were prioritizing and resourcing our most critical projects accordingly. This includes addressing operational redundancies and making organizational adjustments to better align with our key priorities and business objectives. By focusing on initiatives that drive the greatest impact, we aim to strengthen our foundation for sustainable growth and industry leadership.
While not all organizations will be impacted, we have determined that changes are necessary, affecting approximately 700 positions globally. Most affected roles are in Manufacturing and Operations, driven by optimizing factory capacity and shifts in demand and product mix. These decisions were not made lightly. They were made after careful consideration and are intended to focus our efforts on the initiatives that deliver the greatest value for our customers. By doing so, we position onsemi to move faster, innovate more boldly and strengthen our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.
We recognize the impact of these decisions and are committed to supporting affected employees with respect, transparency and available resources during this transition. Thank you for your continued dedication as we work together to build a stronger, more resilient onsemi for the future.
No, people are still being walked out this morning.
